This project is a functional prototype of an application designed to help tourists on their tours knowing new places in cities. It is the final project of my first learning phase at Holberton School in Medellín.
Tourist App is like a friend in the city. By using this app you will receive recommendations of the best places, local events, address information and hours.
Process details
Problem to solve: Tourists do not have a quick and effective help that can give them recommendations on the best places to visit and the events available in the city, to plan their daily agenda enjoying everything that may interest them in the city they visit.
The users:
- People who come to a city for the first time and want to get to know it, enjoying everything they can find in it.
- Owners of places, restaurants and tourist events that want to promote themselves.

- As a tourist I want to find events by categories so that makes it easier for me to choose according to my interests.
- As a tourist I want to organize a good daily tourist route so that I can take advantage of the time to get to know the historical places of the city.
- As a tourist I want to visit the funniest places so that I spend the best time with family.
- As a tourist I want to register in the app so that I can save and consult my tourist plans.
- The platform has no corporate identity.
- As the owner of a commercial establishment I want to promote my events so that I get new clients.
